My heart melted for a baby horse who was abandoned on roadside struggling all alone as injured, frightened, exhausted, and vulnerable amidst the speeding traffic, it looked into my eyes as if silently asking for help.

I couldn’t just walk away. Saving that little innocent soul today reminded me that humanity is not measured by big achievements, but by the compassion we show to those who cannot ask for it.
